Ascolta Women shares history narrative in fiction

Early this year Teresa Capetola presented at the Society of Women Writers Victoria on the topic: The Use of Social History Narrative and Fiction in Academic Research. Teresa described her multiple uses of fiction to encourage second generation Italian Australian women to share their lived experiences in her doctoral thesis. She also explained her innovative method for co-creating a short work of fiction with research participants as a novel means of generating and recording women’s stories. If you are interested in Ascolta Women Inc. presenting to your organisation on the diverse and multiple uses of fiction, or history narrative in  writing and storytelling, please get in touch: ascoltawomen@gmail.com
